They had barely advanced a few meters when Kenya, a trans woman sex worker, ran to the car in response to Paola's cries for help. Upon arrival, three firearm detonations announced her friend’s agony, who lost her life next to her attacker. Such a scene was recorded on Kenya's cell phone. After this event, Kenya begins a fight that leads her to travel through the darkest corners of the loneliness, abandonment and violence that trans women experience, giving herself the task of assisting her companions in death; establishing a farewell ritual amid songs, alcohol and prayers. In an effort to find answers to the abandonment that Paola suffered in death, Kenya makes the decision to travel to the country’s south in search of her friend's family without imagining that this trip will lead her to meet the fear and pain of seeing herself reflected in that tragic ending.
